Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I fill the TWSBI Diamond 580 with fountain pen ink?
A: Submerge the nib fully into your ink bottle, twist the rear piston knob counter-clockwise to extend the piston downward, then smoothly rotate it clockwise to draw ink up into the clear barrel. Wipe any excess ink from the section and nib with a lint-free cloth.

Q: What are the included wrench and silicone grease used for?
A: TWSBI designs its pens for long-term user maintenance. The wrench fits the piston mechanism nut at the back of the section, allowing complete disassembly for thorough color flushes. The silicone grease lubricates the rubber piston seal when it begins to feel stiff after extensive use.

Q: Can the TWSBI Diamond 580 use standard ink cartridges or converters?
A: No. The Diamond 580 is a dedicated piston-fill fountain pen with an integrated barrel reservoir. It draws ink exclusively from bottled fountain pen inks.

Q: What is the store's customer support and refund policy?
A: Official customer support is provided directly via szjyf@outlook.com. Inquiries are managed post-purchase after your order is confirmed. Full refunds can be requested at any time prior to shipment dispatch.
