Standard 8000 Peel-Off China Markers 12-Pack

Standard 8000 String-Pull Peel-Off China Markers & Grease Pencils (12-Piece Box)

Mark smoothly across non-porous and textured industrial surfaces with the Standard 8000 Peel-Off China Markers. Built with a time-tested woodless wax core and spiral paper wrapping, these classic grease pencils require no pencil sharpener or utility blade. Simply pull the built-in tear string down slightly and peel away the spiraled paper strip to expose fresh, ready-to-write marking wax. Formulated with high-density, heat-resistant, and moisture-proof wax pigments, the Standard 8000 glides effortlessly across slick, non-absorbent materials—including smooth glass, glazed ceramics, polished granite, sheet metal, PVC pipes, shrink wrap, and hard plastics—as well as porous leather, fabrics, and unfinished wood. The marks remain vivid and water-resistant under humid shop conditions yet wipe away cleanly from non-porous surfaces with a damp cloth or mineral solvent when layout work is complete.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I peel the pencil to reveal more wax core?
Locate the white string near the tip, pull it straight down along the pre-scored groove about 5–8 mm, and then peel away the spiral paper strip with your fingers.

How can I remove these markings from glass or metal?
On non-porous surfaces like glass, ceramic tile, polished stone, and painted metal, the marks can be rubbed away with a dry microfiber cloth, a warm damp sponge, or rubbing alcohol.

Will these markers melt or break in warm temperatures?
Standard 8000 cores are formulated with temperature-stabilized industrial wax that maintains solid structural integrity during normal seasonal warehouse and job site temperatures.
