STAEDTLER Graphite 779 Mechanical Pencil 0.7mm

STAEDTLER Graphite 779 0.7mm Mechanical Pencil

Crafted in Germany to deliver effortless reliability, the STAEDTLER Graphite 779 0.7mm mechanical pencil pairs a shock-absorbing cushioned lead mechanism with an ergonomic profile tailored for rigorous daily writing and drafting. The 0.7mm lead grade produces rich, highly legible lines with superior break resistance, supported by an internal spring that yields slightly under heavy hand pressure. A fully retractable guide sleeve slides back into the nose cone at the push of a button, ensuring pocket-safe transport between classes, studio sessions, and the office.

Key Features

• Shock-Absorbing Spring Cushion: Dynamic spring suspension dampens sudden writing pressure to protect 0.7mm graphite from snapping during heavy-handed note-taking.
• Full Retractable Sleeve Mechanism: Metal drafting guide pipe fully recedes into the tapered nose cone, shielding shirt pockets and pencil cases against snags and bends.
• Ergonomic Contoured Rubber Grip: Supple non-slip grip section reduces hand fatigue during lengthy study sessions, drafting revisions, and technical sketching.
• High-Capacity 12-Lead Reservoir: Roomy internal barrel chamber holds up to 12 replacement leads at once for uninterrupted feeding without frequent refilling.
• Integrated Twist Eraser: Large concealed PVC- and latex-free eraser under the chrome end cap twists up smoothly for fast, clean corrections without smudging.
• German Engineering Quality: Built with STAEDTLER's rigorous manufacturing standards for smooth click actuation and long-term durability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why choose 0.7mm lead over 0.5mm for this pencil?
A: The 0.7mm lead diameter offers substantially higher tensile strength and a darker, broader line, making it ideal for fast note-takers, students taking timed exams, and artists laying down bold sketches without snapping.

Q: How does the pocket-safe retractable tip operate?
A: While pressing the rear push-button down, gently push the metal guide sleeve against a flat surface or finger pad until it slides flush into the nose cone.

Q: Does this pencil accept standard 0.7mm refill leads?
A: Yes, it is fully compatible with standard 0.7mm polymer and graphite pencil leads, including STAEDTLER Mars micro carbon 250 tubes.

Q: What is the store's customer service and order cancellation policy?
A: Post-purchase support is handled via email at szjyf@outlook.com after order placement. Orders can be canceled for a full refund at any time before shipment confirmation.
