Platinum Waterproof Pigment Ink 60ml INKC-1500

Archival Permanence with Platinum Nano-Particle Pigment Ink

Regarded globally as the benchmark for waterproof fountain pen inks, the Platinum INKC-1500 series delivers museum-grade archival permanence in a generous 60ml glass bottle. Engineered with ultra-fine, nano-dispersed pigment particles, this specialized formulation delivers rich, high-contrast lines that bond permanently with paper fibers without clogging standard fountain pen feeds.

Whether you are drafting legal contracts, archiving daily journal entries, or executing delicate watercolor washes, Platinum Pigment Ink remains completely impervious to water, moisture, and UV light once dry. Illustrators and urban sketchers rely on it as their indispensable daily medium because watercolors and wet gouache can be laid directly over linework with zero smudging, bleeding, or lifting.

Key Features

• Uncompromising Waterproof & Lightfast Chemistry: Sub-micron pigment particles create crisp, permanent lines that never smudge, feather, or fade, even under saturated watercolor glazes or damp environments.
• Clever Built-in Ink Reservoir: Features Platinum's proprietary internal plastic reservoir cup insert. Simply invert the closed bottle and upright it before filling to draw every last milliliter with ease, even when ink runs critically low.
• Smooth, Continuous Capillary Flow: Micro-milled pigment ensures steady ink delivery across fine, medium, and broad fountain pen nibs, as well as dip pens and brush pens.
• Stable Heavy-Base Glass Bottle: Designed with a wide mouth and low center of gravity to prevent tipping during converter or piston refills.
• Essential High-Repeat Consumable: Trusted worldwide by document professionals, artists, and pen collectors as the gold standard for daily archival writing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will Platinum Pigment Ink clog my fountain pen?
A: The ultra-fine nano-particle pigment is formulated specifically for fountain pen feeds. However, because it dries to an insoluble, water-resistant state, we recommend routine maintenance: flush your pen with cool water every 4 to 6 weeks, and keep pens capped when not actively writing.

Q: How does the internal ink reservoir work?
A: Securely tighten the cap, turn the bottle upside down for a second, and place it upright. The integrated plastic cup inside collects and holds ink near the brim, allowing your fountain pen nib or converter to fully submerge and draw the final 1ml of ink without tilting.

Q: Can I paint watercolors or use alcohol markers over this ink?
A: Yes. Once thoroughly dry (typically within a couple of minutes on standard paper), the pigment is completely waterproof. You can lay juicy watercolor washes or ink washes directly over lines without any bleeding or haloing.

Q: How are orders processed and supported?
A: To provide efficient fulfillment, order inquiries are managed after placement via our support desk at szjyf@outlook.com. Full refunds may be requested at any time prior to order dispatch.
