Platinum POD5 Retractable Gel Pen Set (8 Colors, 0.5mm)

Designed by Platinum Pen Japan (established 1919), the POD5 series blends everyday practicality with reliable Japanese writing instrument craftsmanship. Each pen features a precisely tuned spring-loaded click mechanism and a balanced 11mm barrel that reduces finger fatigue during marathon study sessions or long desk workdays. The high-density pigment gel ink flows smoothly from the 0.5mm tungsten carbide ball tip, producing crisp, consistent lines that dry in a fraction of a second to prevent smudging on common ruled paper, planners, and test sheets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will the ink bleed through standard notebook or planner paper?
A: No. The high-viscosity pigment gel ink is engineered to sit cleanly on standard 70–80 gsm paper surfaces without feathering or bleed-through under normal writing pressure.

Q: Does this pen smear when highlighting text?
A: The POD5 ink sets almost instantaneously. Allow roughly 2–3 seconds after writing before applying a water-based or mild highlighter to ensure crisp, smear-free results.

Q: Are all eight pens black ink with colored bodies, or do they write in colored ink?
A: Each pen writes in the ink color matching its clip and barrel accent (Black, Blue, Light Blue, Aqua, Green, Orange, Red, and Purple), giving you a versatile multi-color palette.

Q: What is the store's customer service and order guarantee?
A: Inquiries are handled promptly after ordering via customer service at szjyf@outlook.com. Full refunds can be requested at any time prior to order shipment confirmation.
