Pilot Timeline Present Ballpoint Pen BTL-3SR
Pilot Timeline Present Ballpoint Pen (BTL-3SR)
The Pilot Timeline "Present" series represents an architectural achievement in modern fine-writing instruments. Designed around the concept of time and mechanical precision, it introduces Pilot's signature dual-stage twist deployment mechanism: a gentle first rotation reveals the transparent nose section, while a continuous turn smoothly extends the writing tip. When fully retracted, the pen transforms into an ultra-compact, pocket-safe cylinder with streamlined contours. Fitted with Pilot's proprietary Acro hybrid oil-based ink, the Timeline Present delivers rich, skip-free lines with instant drying and feather-resistant clarity across all paper types.
Key Features
- Dual-Stage Twist Mechanism: Two-phase telescoping rotation protects clothing and pocket interiors while offering an exceptionally tactile deployment action.
- Low-Viscosity Acro Hybrid Ink: Combines the fluid gliding ease of gel ink with the permanent, water-resistant reliability of traditional oil-based ink.
- Ergonomic Balanced Barrel: Features a solid metal barrel paired with a 14.3 mm diameter grip section, providing comfortable weight distribution for extended writing sessions.
- Transparent Mechanical Showcase: Smoked resin lower grip allows visual appreciation of the inner mechanical rotation during retraction and extension.
- Premium Metallic Finishes: Finished in elegant, durable lacquer coatings with high-polish chrome accents.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does the dual-stage retraction mechanism operate?
A: Rotating the upper barrel first extends the transparent grip nose, and rotating further deploys the 0.7mm writing point. Reversing the twist completely retracts the tip and nose cone inside the barrel.
Q: What replacement refill fits this model?
A: It uses standard Pilot BRFN-30 series refills (such as BRFN-30M for 0.7mm or BRFN-30F for 0.5mm), known for smooth, smear-resistant Acro hybrid ink.
Q: Is this pen suitable for pocket carrying?
A: Yes. At just 121 mm in length when retracted and featuring a fully enclosed tip, it is designed for safe daily carry in shirt pockets or notebook loops without accidental staining.
Q: What is the store order and refund policy?
A: Customer support inquiries are handled after an order is placed via szjyf@outlook.com. Full refunds may be requested at any time prior to confirmed order shipment.
