Pilot Timeline Future Ballpoint Pen BTL-5SR
Pilot Timeline Future Ballpoint Pen (BTL-5SR)
The Pilot Timeline "Future" series (BTL-5SR) pushes modern writing design into a sleek, avant-garde dimension. Constructed with a streamlined anodized aluminum barrel, the Future edition embodies minimalist architectural aesthetics through its satin metallic finish and precision-machined grip contours. Powered by Pilot's signature two-stage twist telescoping mechanism, a smooth initial rotation deploys the tapered front sleeve before engaging the 0.7 mm ballpoint tip. When closed, it retracts into a pocket-safe, seamless 121 mm cylinder. Packed with Pilot's low-viscosity Acro hybrid oil-based ink, the Timeline Future ensures an ultra-responsive glide, intense dark lines, and rapid drying on diverse paper stocks.
Key Features
- All-Metal Anodized Construction: High-grade aluminum body with a micro-sandblasted satin texture provides corrosion resistance, sleek tactile feel, and modern executive appeal.
- Two-Stage Telescoping Deployment: Proprietary dual-turn twist mechanism advances the protective nose cone first, then smoothly extends the writing tip for safe pocket travel.
- Acro Hybrid Low-Viscosity Ink: Delivers the effortless, low-friction gliding sensation of water-based ink paired with the water resistance and longevity of oil ink.
- Forward-Weighted Balance: Designed with an optimal center of gravity across its 14.3 mm grip diameter to reduce finger strain during intensive writing.
- Sleek Modern Colorways: Coated in futuristic satin tones—including Titanium Gray, Sea Blue, Diamond Silver, Vibrant Red, and Stealth Black.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does the dual-stage twist action work?
A: Turning the upper barrel clockwise first telescopes the front nose cone into position, while further rotation extends the ballpoint tip. Reversing the rotation fully conceals the tip inside the aluminum casing.
Q: What refill does the Pilot Timeline Future use?
A: It uses standard Pilot BRFN-30 series refills (such as BRFN-30M for 0.7mm or BRFN-30F for 0.5mm), offering smooth, smear-resistant Acro hybrid ink.
Q: What distinguishes the Future series from the Present and Eternal models?
A: The Future series features an all-aluminum body with unified satin metallic finishes across both the upper body and grip section, contrasting with the translucent resin of Present and the swirled marble resin of Eternal.
Q: What is the store order and refund policy?
A: Customer support inquiries are handled after order placement via szjyf@outlook.com. Full refunds can be requested at any time prior to confirmed order shipment.
