Pentel TRJ50 Flexible Nib Pen 5-Pack

Pentel TRJ50 Flexible Nib Business Sign Pen (5-Pack)

The Pentel TRJ50 (Tradio Stylo) delivers an expressive, responsive handwriting experience by fusing fountain pen line dynamics with the convenience of a modern porous-point marker. Engineered around a unique delta-shaped polyacetal fiber nib encased in a flexible plastic collar, it responds organically to your natural hand angle and downward pressure. Whether executing brisk executive signatures, drafting architectural line art, or jotting daily executive notes, this 5-pen set ensures uninterrupted, fatigue-free precision across every page.

Key Features

• Dynamic Variable Line Width: Flexible delta-profile synthetic fiber nib transitions smoothly from a razor-sharp 0.4 mm hairline to a bold 2.0 mm stroke in a single gesture, modulated entirely by your writing angle and grip pressure.
• Fast-Drying Water-Based Liquid Ink: Formulated with a rich, high-density water-based dye ink system that flows instantly without skipping, dries rapidly to prevent smudging, and minimizes bleed-through on standard notebook paper.
• Anti-Roll Octagonal Faceted Barrel: Molded with subtle geometric facets along the body to prevent rolling off slanted drafting tables and desks while offering ergonomic index-finger indexing.
• Sustainable MLJ20 Interchangeable Core: Fully compatible with Pentel MLJ20 refill modules, which replace both the ink reservoir and the entire flexible nib assembly together, renewing writing performance every refill.
• Convenient 5-Pack Bundle: Includes five individual pens (black ink) ready for multi-office deployment, travel cases, and demanding studio sketching workflows.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the flexible fiber nib achieve different line widths?
The nib features a dual-sided delta synthetic fiber core supported by an outer stabilizing bridge. Writing at a steep angle produces an ultra-fine 0.4 mm line, while lowering the angle or increasing downward pressure flexes the fiber tip to lay down up to a 2.0 mm broad stroke.

Are these compatible with standard Pentel MLJ20 refills?
Yes. Each unit utilizes the Pentel MLJ20 integrated tip-and-reservoir module, allowing you to swap out spent cores in seconds without messy ink handling.

Does the water-based ink bleed through paper?
The water-based dye ink is balanced for rapid absorption and surface drying on regular office stationery, copy paper, and standard journals, keeping ghosting and feathering minimal under normal writing speeds.
