Pentel EnerGel Cardcaptor Sakura Gel Pen Set

The Pentel EnerGel Cardcaptor Sakura Gel Pen Set is a Japan-market limited collaboration between Pentel and Kodansha, pairing official Cardcaptor Sakura barrel artwork with Pentel's famously quick-drying EnerGel liquid gel ink. Each set contains five 0.5mm retractable gel pens filled with black ink.

A Magical Girl Classic, Built on Pentel's Best-Selling EnerGel

Few gel pens have earned the following that EnerGel has. Its liquid gel formula dries almost the instant it touches paper, which is why students, journalers, and left-handed writers keep coming back to the BLN75 platform. For this Kodansha special edition, Pentel wraps that proven pen in officially licensed Cardcaptor Sakura artwork: delicate character illustrations and sakura motifs printed around a pearlescent white barrel, finished with a polished silver knock button, clip, and nose cone. It writes like a daily workhorse and looks like a collector's piece.

Key Features

• Limited Kodansha collaboration: official Cardcaptor Sakura artwork licensed for the Japanese market, marked with the Kodansha special-edition seal on the box.
• Quick-drying EnerGel ink: Pentel's signature liquid gel ink lays down a vivid, skip-free line that resists smearing, a genuine advantage for left-handed writers and fast note-takers.
• 0.5mm precision tip: a fine point that keeps kanji, kana, and detailedannotations crisp while still gliding with minimal pressure.
• Retractable knock mechanism: one-handed click action with a sturdy pocket clip, so the tip stays protected in a pencil case or bag.
• Five-pen collector set: a curated bundle for Cardcaptor Sakura fans, ideal for journaling, lettering practice, gifts, or display.
• Refillable: compatible with Pentel EnerGel LRN5 refills, so the special-edition barrels stay in service long after the first refill runs dry.

Frequently Asked Questions

What tip size and ink color do these pens use?

Each pen in the set uses a 0.5mm tip filled with black EnerGel liquid gel ink.

Is EnerGel ink really smear-resistant?

Yes. EnerGel's liquid gel formula was engineered to dry faster than conventional gel ink, which sharply reduces smudging on most writing papers. It is a popular pick for left-handed writers for exactly this reason.

Can I refill these pens, or are they disposable?

They are refillable. The barrels accept Pentel EnerGel LRN5 refills, so you can keep using the Cardcaptor Sakura edition barrels instead of retiring them when the ink runs out.

Is this an official Cardcaptor Sakura product?

Yes. This is an officially licensed collaboration released with Kodansha for the Japanese market, and the packaging carries the Kodansha special-edition seal.

What is included in the set?

You receive five Pentel EnerGel retractable gel pens featuring Cardcaptor Sakura collaboration artwork, each with a 0.5mm tip and black ink.

Why This Set Belongs in Your Collection

Most anime stationery asks you to choose between display value and writing performance. This set refuses the trade-off: it is a genuine EnerGel underneath the artwork, built in Japan for people who actually write with what they collect. Whether it ends up in a daily rotation or a display case, it earns its place either way.
